Safety & Precautions
In our Clinic, we Value your Safety and our Safety
- We use sterile, single-use acupuncture needles Only
- Needles are disposed of in approved Sharps containers
- Acupuncturists wash/ disinfect hands in between treating patients and touching surfaces
- Air purification is in use during clinic hours
- Do Not come to an appointment sick with respiratory illness - We Cannot treat someone when they are ill (no fee to reschedule - call and we may suggest herbal tx, if you are interested)
- Masks are optional, but are encouraged when illness levels in the community are high.
- Your acupuncturist is up-to-date on vaccinations at industry standards for healthcare workers
- Your acupuncturist is up-to-date on CPR/ First Aid certification with the AHA
We Value your Privacy as much as your safety
- We talk quietly in the clinic to ensure your privacy.
- Please keep talking to a minimum in the treatment space.
- If you want to bring in a written note describing your symptoms for the acupuncturist to read, that is fine.
Please Do Not come to acupuncture if:
- You have had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100 degrees F or above
- You have any acute respiratory, or flu symptoms, cold symptoms, or sore throat
- You are coughing or sneezing due to illness
- You have been in Close Contact with anyone in the past week who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms or Flu symptoms
